Big C made out pretty well!! We received 2 cards in the mail. One from his Grandparents W, and the other from his Grandparents B. Each contained a card concealing the actual "loot". He was given a $30 check. and a $25 gift card to Wal-mart. Below is a collage of all Big C's birthday happiness!!
Then of course he had to dress for the occasion, wearing some of his new clothes.
Big C's Uncle N was here for the weekend, and offered to make his birthday dinner. We dined on Fettuccine Alfredo, Fluffy Chicken, and Asparagus!! It was wonderful!! For his birthday cake he wanted something a little different. Instead of a cake, he wanted, what we call, "Grandma Bars". These have a oatmeal cookie crust, topped with a creamy, fudgy goodness, then sprinkled with the same oatmeal cookie crust. Well, Big C decided he wanted the oatmeal part died "BYU" blue, and then instead of sprinkling the crust on top randomly, he wanted it to spell B-Y-U. Well, after using all of my blue food coloring, it came out a nice shade of....green!! Oh well, at least the words came out just right!!

He's such a good kid! I'm glad everything turned out well for his big day and to start it off at the Golden Corral - yeah, that's the ticket!
Big-C (I thought I was Big-C, well there can never be too many of us!)great to see you had a good BDay!Next time we'll have to make the cake Blue AND Orange!
Happy Birthday Big C!
I can't wait to see/read the five reasons he wears pink! lol BYU green is acceptable if you're color blind so don't feel too bad. You need to post the recipe on MDollar Question so I can make them when I'm having one of those 'chocolate' moments.
Double digits next year! No way. That's crazy!
